This ends the debate about how samus fits inside her morphball form.
I figured the Chozo race had to make sure that she was able to fit inside the ball, so they made some testing on a virtual environment. Samus wasn´t so coorperative on the beginning so they had to restrain her. Her restraints are automatically contracting tighter and tighter until she fits inside the area of the sphere. She was anonoying the scientists with her complaints, so she was silenced. 
Old Bird is supervising the tests to define if samus is worthy of the chozo technology and legacy. 

Worked a lot on the pose, it needed to be suspended on an ingravity field, tight enough but revealing enough of her anatomy. I liked the final result. 
Chozo birds based on concept art from the game, digitally painted. Background randomly picked and altered froma a websearch for "alien laboratory". Base is a save station from metroid prime games. 
Satisfied with the results on this pic. 
It was planned to have all the alternate costumes variations (justin bailey, orange shorts, blue shorts, super metroid dark blue bikini, super smash bros with yellow boots variation), but after finishing this one, I realized all those variations would be very time consuming, and decided to stick with the original zero suit only.

Here is the original proyect. Samus in all her suit variations. It proved to be a titanic enterprise, with very complex layer management. It would have taken me like 2 months to finish them all and move on. So I decided to just post the original idea and let you imagine how would these have resulted if finished. 


